Ovostar Union, the producer of eggs and egg products, launched a new product to the market — liquid egg mixture “Scrambled eggs”.
Ready-to-cook scrambled eggs product is an innovative category for the Ukrainian consumer. In 2001 Ovostar Union group of companies was the first to launch egg in an individual branded packaging (Yasensvit TM), and in 2006 it was the first to launch liquid egg products (Ovostar TM).
The ingredients of the product include chicken eggs, cream, milk, salt and natural spices — pepper, marjoram, basil, nutmeg. The new product formulation was developed by Ovostar specialists based on consumer experience from other countries. Recommended for making omelettes at home, as well as for HoReCa and catering.
“Scrambled eggs” product has appeared on the shelves of the large retail chains as Silpo, NOVUS, AUCHAN, METRO since November. Products are packaged in plastic bottles weighing 1 kg, and from January 2020 will be available in 0.5 kg packaging. The advantages of the new product for the consumer are ease of use and time saving. “A healthy protein product is indispensable for those who care about the quality of food and consider breakfast to be a must-have meal,” comments Sergiy Didenko, head of the “Egg products” business unit of Ovostar Union group of companies. Scrambled eggs will complement the range of liquid egg products by Ovostar™ previously presented to the market — mix and egg white.
