In February, the OJSC Poultry Farm "Ukraine", which is a member of GC Ovostar Union, successfully completed the process of building an integrating system of quality safety products control according to the requirements of ISO 22000:2005 (HACCP).

Today, one of the main directions of increasing competitiveness of food products in general and eggs in particular is improving the quality and safety products. Given this understanding of market needs and followed by the egg product plant Ovostar Holding management made a decision of certification of quality management systems and food safety in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 of the OJSC Poultry Farm "Ukraine".

Standard ISO 9001:2000 is a system of quality management that provides: improved management system and enhancing its efficiency, improving product quality, a competitive advantage, improved company image and increasing its investment attractiveness.

System of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a science-based system that helps to ensure production of safe products by identifying and controlling hazards.

The control system of food safety based on HACCP concept increases the efficiency of production due to reallocation of resources in the most critical areas of security products, and provides significant advantages when entering the international market. By implementing this system, OJSC Poultry Farm "Ukraine" thereby is guaranteeing its customers a high degree of hygiene and safety of its products.
